  Stanley J Kalathara is a Democratic candidate for the New York City Council from District 25. He has been a leading attorney for the past 25 years specializing in real estate, business closings, immigration, criminal cases, divorce and child support, personal injury and medical malpractice to name a few.

As a president of Indo-American Democratic Committee, he had organized several fund raisers for elected officials notable among them being Senator Hillary Clinton at Donald Trump's residence in 2000; Vice President Al Gore in 2000; Andrew Cuomo in 2002 and Ed Randle, Governor of PA.. He is a member of Community Board 3, City of New York.

He is also the board of trustee of New York State Democratic Committee, President Indo-American Democratic Committee, nominated to the Platform Committee at the National Democratic Convention in 2000 and founding member of Asian American Pacific Islanders Democratic Committee.Stanley Kalathara , delegate to national convention Stanley Kalathara.
